Fun fun fun

mangos are back...

After a short hiatus from our favorite tropical fruit I am happy to report that we have mangos again. Not sure what was going on, but for awhile they were just funky, small, and impossible to ripen without rotting. I know some of you have had that experience with mangos before too. Even after 35 years of professional cheffing I still don't quite know why that sometimes happens. But I have been keeping a close eye on the market and the past Monday found a nice little box of good lookin' 'goes which are ripening beautifully. Get in Here!

delisheeeYo in the Flow

Ah life...ya gotta love the surprise of it all. I have recently had a fun new opportunity to spread the goodness of delisheeeYo and help build a cool healthy culinary program for a new venture with the focus on weight management and healthy lifestyle education for teens. Mindstream is soon to launch just down the road from us on Hilton Head and guess what delightful frosty snack will be served? That's right, looks like a delisheeeYo mini store will make an appearance. Teens and kids are our best customers. They get the goodness and love the choice of toppings and don't care that yogurt is an amazingly healthy food choice that actually helps you reduce belly fat, better digest nutrients and keeps all the plumbing working. Perfect!

We are currently running 8 different kinds of super quality chocolate including French white and dark chocolate crunchy pearls, Ghiradelli semi-sweet chips and King Leo Peppermint Bark (King Leo is the best, no skimping on the peppermint crunchies like the other brands), and lets not forget our three house made syrups: mocha, aztec and classic milk chocolate and finally, the whole roasted Columbian Cacao Nibs...which in my humble opinion are THE BEST crunchy component. Well it's finally happened, it's cold on Hilton Head. Which is the perfect excuse to heat up the menu at delisheeeYo. Organic Golden Delicious and Fuji apples, pressed on the Green Star and gently simmered with orange and sweet mulling spices make a perfect hot libation for the chilly December days.
